Get involved

A great way to stay abreast of developments in the bee keeping world is to enroll with an organisation. Our local Bee Keeping clubs are Gwent (-members of the BBKA(British Bee Keeping Association)@http://www.bbka.org.uk/local/gwent/) and Brecon and Radnor (-members of WBKA(Welsh Bee Keeping Association) @http://www.wbka.com/brecon-radnor-beekeepers-association/).

Gwent are in the process of deciding whether to switch to WBKA.

Each organisation offers membership to the umberella group as well as local membership. They both organise talks, workshops, courses, shows and information and are well worth a visit especially for beginners.
